My partner and I did a class at two different levels (a super beginner and a little more advanced). It was great how he accompanied each of us in learning, how he let us do things and advised us, keeping us under control at all times.
He proposed an ideal class for our level.

Thanks for the amazing surf experience! Very good surfing lessons with Tamer, a super instructor, who gave extremely helpful feedback and indiviual mentoring to make sure everyone achieves their personal goals. I tried Poseidon Surf Academy after a couple of bad experiences with other schools. This one was completely different. Tamer is very attentive, flexible and passionate. Great surfing experience. We tried to arrange it for the same day and it was possible. And even if the coach had back pain, he arranged for another instructor to teach us a little surfing. Incredible 2 days on the ocean.

You’ve been a mom for a year and you think you’re ready for it?
I don’t know about you but I do and yet I have been able to do a little surfing, enjoy it 😎 and even relax, I confess that those little moments waiting for the indicated wave, lying on the board, on a clear water like never before, with the movement of the tide and the safety of teacher Tamer taking the board were… 🤤 Glory!! Then the wave arrived and Tamer told me, ready, and I was already freaking out like come on, let’s go! Tamer continued, here we go, one… Two… And I got on the board in a quick and coordinated movement to fall at 0.2 thousandths of a second 🤭 but hey! What a cool two thousandths!!!

There are hundreds of surf schools and instructors everywhere, but I would certainly repeat with Tamer and the Poseidon academy for many things. but above all because he is not going to look at you like a euro but rather he is going to look for your strengths to adapt the activity with patience and fun so you feel that 0.2 thousandths are very very cool, even for moms!!

We found the Poseidon Surf Academy online and we couldn’t be happier. In addition to the good price of the classes, we learned a lot because the classes are more particular than the rest of the academies, there were three of us students. Very good vibes with the teacher, it is appreciated to find people like that, we will not hesitate to repeat.

I was excited to start surfing, luckily I found the super instructor Tamer since the first class I took was somewhere else and I felt like a scam. Tamer gave me a clean slate and you can really tell that he likes to teach and that he gives you all his dedication and attention. One hundred percent recommended!!! My first class was with another instructor in another company, the second one I gave at the Poseidon academy was, in my opinion, one of the best I gave.
He taught me how to get on the board in a different way and it was great for me, from the first moment on top of the board.

What a success to have chosen this school. The classes with Tamer have been very fun and you learn a lot. Their classes have a maximum of 6 people and I was lucky enough to be alone with one other person, so the attention is total. We have done a single session, taking advantage of our short stay in Fuerteventura. It has been incredible!!!! We have felt very comfortable and we have made the most of it. A magnificent experience! I have done a three-day session and I have learned a lot. He makes you feel safe, explains very well and is a very nice guy. He is constantly looking out for you, explaining, correcting, retouching aspects or taking you a step further or back if necessary and he is not looking at the clock to see how long it takes to finish, on the contrary. Incredible experience! I recommend Tamer’s school without a doubt.
It was our first time, we were only able to do one day because we had to go, but Tamer gave us a great class and dedicated more time to us than we expected. Explaining everything basic to us very well and helping us in the water so that we could get up and catch our first waves, we were able to catch some alone and everything, all the way to the shore :))

Tamer was a super coach!! On our first day in Corralejo we tried a surf camp further up the road (we won’t name) and in a group of 8 we found the group too large and the teacher a little unprofessional. We then tried Poseidon Surf Academy with Tamer and couldn’t be happier. We were only a group of 3 and took lessons at 7am which worked perfectly with our schedule. We ended up having 4 days in a row and our entire group raved about Tamer’s teaching methods and attitude. Thanks Tamer, we will be back!

The 5 days of surf lessons with Tamer were incredibly great.
Tamer had a good knowledge of the waves and only took us to beaches/waves that were suitable for our group.
The hotel pick up worked very well and we had a lot of fun on the way to the sea.
And even though I’m afraid of the sea, I didn’t think about it even once during the surf course because Tamer really made me feel like I was in good hands.
If I surf in Fuerteventura again, I will definitely visit the Poseidon Surf Academy again.

Very good training and experience!
When we first arrived on the island, the wind was very strong. Coach Tamer was very considerate of the students and suggested that the rookies wait a day and wait for the wind to calm down the next day before getting used to it~
It will also take us to look for beaches suitable for waves.
Compared to other courses, Poseidon courses are smaller (last time we had a total of 3 students and 2 of us, haha) The instructor has a very good knowledge of the details and techniques! It is very suitable for those who already have a little basic foundation, they can learn a lot!
We went surfing with 7 o’clock pickup which was a great time, we got back just in time to have lunch and then walk around town in the afternoon ~ much better than many other schedules that start at 9 o’clock. Clock!

I can highly recommend Tamer as a surf instructor! He is one of the best instructors I have ever had and I don’t say that often.

I had an absolutely great time learning to surf at Poseidon Surf Academy. Tamer is a great teacher and passionate about sports, which was very refreshing. We did a 1-day beginner surf course with coach Tamer at Poseidon Surf Academy and we really liked it! It was a high quality, fun and great productive lesson. In this short period of time he taught a lot about theory. At first we practiced in the sand and at the end we surfed in the water.
Additionally, he patiently answered any and all questions about surfing and tried to give advice on every situation that could happen while in the water 🏄. Tamer also helped us with topics that were not related to surfing.
Compared to other courses we had, it was totally different. Specifically I can mention the observation of each student’s surfing technique, counting the mistakes, showing the best way to deal with special cases in the water, motivating of course and much more. He was very patient, friendly and has a good sense of humor. They also brought the students some fruits and water, which was also extremely nice. I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a surf school. I hope to see you again 🙂

Magnificent, the instructor is very involved and takes care of you from A to Z, taking you to great places to surf. The price is attractive for 4 hours of classes. Tamer is very professional, I highly recommend him and I will happily return next year.

Because my surf school doesn’t offer classes on Sundays, I asked around at different schools. Tamer of Poseidon responded immediately and made it possible. He picked me up with all the equipment and stuff and took me to a nice place on the north coast. He is super friendly and competent. I had a great 3.5 hour surf session with him in Fuerteventura.

There are probably 100 surf schools in Corralejo alone, so let me make the choice easier for you by saying that you won’t regret choosing this one.
Tamer is an amazing and friendly instructor. He knows what he’s doing and really tries to make sure you get the most out of your time. He spent some time teaching at some of the larger schools, but then started this school with the intention of keeping the classes small and personal, and it really makes a big difference to feel like you’re dealing with an individual and not a faceless school with 10 different instructors.
He also takes out a GoPro for lessons and spends time after each lesson reviewing his footage and sending you all the clips for free, helping you understand where you can improve your technique.
I recommend this one!
